Dinner at Sato-ya


I went to dinner with John Collins (Rasu Begasu) while I was in Vegas this week.

Chef Uehara is very masterful with his presentations and serves very fresh seafood.


Sashimi Platter.


Crispy Rice Cake with Spicy Ahi. Very tasty; the rice cakes even by themselves are very flavorful.


Fried peppers and Spider Roll.


The chef's mastery with the knife can be seen in these sculptures he does with the avocado seeds. The bear behind the turtle is a boy; you can see proof when you pick him up!


I joined Chef Uehara (on the left) and Rasu for karaoke after dinner.
